to ply may prevent proper operation and possibly damage equipment.Check wiring to ensure that all connections are correct after installing the option unit and connecting any other devices.Failure to ply may result in damage to the option unit.5 Installation ProcedureSetting Grounding Method SwitchThe grounding method switch(S1)can change the grounding method for the CC-Link Option between mon grounding and independentgrounding.S1NC FEFigure 7 Grounding Method Switch(S1)2.When you set the grounding method switch (S1)to the "NC"side,the FE kerminal of the CC-Link Option can be set to NC (No Connection).Follow the procedure below to switch the grounding method.■Common GroundingSwitch the grounding method switch(S1)to the"FE"side to use the CC-Link Option for mon grounding.Independent GroundingFollow the procedure below to use the CC-Link Option for independent grounding.1.Switch the grounding method switch(S1)to the "NC"side.2.Wire a ground cable to the SLD terminal on the
